This event is held at Boso-no-mura Museum every year, and it consists of
traditional Japanese performances. You can enjoy various events there such
as the Gama-oil (a medicine for skin) sales performance, the traditional
Japanese handmade candy booth, and so forth.
This is the traditional ceremony at Fukama-suijinja. On October 23rd of
every year, children play Sumo wrestling to celebrate the god in Fukama-suijinja.
Ajiki Tori-no-ichi is a festival at Owasi-jinja. Tori is bird and
Ichi means market. Since Long ago, this market had been held on the bird's
day of the Chinese calendar.
During this time, there are many booths on the street. A popular item is
the lucky charm made of bamboo in the shape of a bear's hand. All the booth
owners are cheerful and try hard to sell their product by advertising their
booth with a loud voice.
