1. From childbirth to childcare (1) If you become pregnant
Childbirth/childcare is a great event of life. This section describes various services to support women from pregnancy to childcare and how to apply for the services.
(1) If you become pregnant
Welfare and Child Support Division, Comprehensive Child Care Support Center (0476-37-7185)
If your doctor instructed you to receive a Maternal and Child Health Handbook, submit a pregnancy notification form to the Comprehensive Child Care Support Center located in Fureai Plaza Sakae to receive the handbook. On the first page of the Maternal and Child Health Handbook, there is a "Proof of birth notification" section to record the physical conditions of the mother and child.
In Japan, if you become pregnant, a Maternal and Child Health Handbook is issued. Also, workshops on pregnancy, childbirth, childcare are held.
出産・育児は、人生の一大イベントです。ここでは妊娠して実際に産み育てるまでの、必要な手続や子育てを支えるサービスについてふれます。
（1）妊娠した時
福祉・子ども課 子育て包括支援室（0476-37-7185）
妊娠がわかって、医療機関で医師より母子健康手帳の交付を受けるよう説明を受けた方は、ふれあいプラザさかえ内 子育て包括支援センターへ妊娠届出書の提出をしていただき、母子健康手帳の交付を受けましょう。母子健康手帳は、第1ページ目に「出生届済証明」欄があり、その他、母親と子どもの健康状態に関することが記載できます。
日本では妊娠すると「母子健康手帳」が発行され、妊娠・出産・育児に関しての知識や技術などを教えてくれる教室も開かれています。
